Aspiring Astronaut, Future Mars Walker, Aquanaut, IIAS Science Researcher, and Astro-biologist: Alyssa “Blueberry” Carson
A special thank you to Alyssa Carson for helping pave the way for the next generation of aspiring astronauts. She is one of my role models and was kind enough to send me a copy of her new book (which I absolutely loved). Alyssa has an incredibly interesting journey and has significantly influenced my own path to my future. I appreciate all of her kind words and support. I have included two buttons above that will take you to her website and her book on Amazon. Below you will find a portion of her bio, a picture of her name at the Smithsonian, and a few snapshots of her book. See you on Mars!!!
Creator and Host of Museum Access: Leslie Mueller
My family and I had the privilege of meeting Leslie Mueller while visiting the Goddard Space Center while on the East Coast portion of our NASA Passport Tour. She took time out in her busy day to speak with us, share her passion for museums, and talk to us about our our trip and goals. She even briefly interviewed my brother and I which was a lot of fun. She has done some amazing work. Please take the time to click the button above to visit her website. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Leslie for sharing museums with the world and for spending time with us at Goddard. It made our trip even more special. We look forward to staying in touch with you and seeing what content you create next. I have also shared a brief bio of Leslie below and a snapshot of the Museum Access mission.
Award Winning Artist and Graphic Designer: Keith Carter
Mr. Carter. was kind enough to allow me to utilize an awesome piece of his artwork that was based on my favorite characters from the movie Gremlins, by Joe Dante. It truly represents me and my call sign “Mogwai”. Gizmo, the cute and cuddly Mogwai on the left, represents my cute and curious space and exploration side. The somewhat more menacing looking green guy on the right, is a lot like me when I am pursuing flight and my future military career. I sometimes become that green guy when I am facing challenges or running some drills with cadets as a Cadet Technical Sergeant in the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). I am very excited to be able to incorporate his wonderful rendition into my flight patch that I plan to share with other young aspiring astronauts, pilots, engineers, and other dreamers who want to use science and hard work to solve some of the big problems out there. This will be done so not for any profit and to simply share my journey with others. Thank you Keith!! Please take a look at his website (by clicking on the button above) and check out his amazing and extensive portfolio. I have included a snapshot of his bio and some of his accomplishments below:
Architect, Technical Support, Web Instructor, and Adopted Uncle: Brent Rogers
Uncle Brent, Thank you for believing in me and for supporting me in making my goal of having a website a reality. Your endless effort, gift of time, and patience are all really appreciated. I especially like all of the “How to” sessions as I learn to do more of this on my own. Michigan was my first trip when I was a baby and our families have stayed connected ever since. You are always there for us. I asked my Dad for a picture of you, but apparently there are as few of you available as there are of him. No wonder you are such good friends. He did, however, help me find some pictures of all of us kids growing up together. There may even be a brief glimpse of at least your arm handing popcorn to the boys at the movie theater. We love you!
