In December of 2024 we received a message that my number came up on the waiting list for USAFA Aero Club located at the historic Davis Airfield (named in honor of General Benjamin O. Davis a Tuskegee Airman WW2). I started ground school in January and was accepted by Lieutenant Colonel Shawna Rochelle Kimbrell as a flight student. A dream come true!!
